The Lion King!

Okay, so this was one for the big kids!

The Ned's went to see Lion King the Musical

I am friends with two wonderful ladies who's children are buddies with Zach, well I say buddies but they're more like siblings because the love each other but fight like cat and dog, and they're both into wooden toys too! First it was me and L, when she first came I noticed her daughter was in a cloth nappy and she noticed Zach was in LGR clothes, then we started a talk about how cute Ned was and how much we both needed one, then we got more involved in the church and helped out together with the scenery for the nativity! Basically by the time it got to Christmas, we were best buddies, chatting Babipur, Maxomorra and Ned then we started a craft group and out came R as a serial crafter (honestly, she has no limits on her crafting ability) we all bonded over craft and crochet as a common interest and then we drew R into the "rainbow side" (like the dark side but obviously rainbow!) Anyway, long story short, we are now best buddies and we are always there for each other through whatever, like I really don't know what I would've done without these girls recently plus between us, we have a VERY impressive toy collection!

So, both L & I are 90's kids and The Lion King is clearly a firm favourite so one day while we were at craft club at R's we suggested all of bringing our toys together and recreating the lion king scene on pride rock... Well tonsillitis, chicken pox and just general illnesses meant we couldn't do it in time for the new movie release but finally WE'VE DONE IT!!!!

Pride rock!

All the 'circle of life' feels

"Long Live the King!"

"Hakuna Matata, what a wonderful phrase"

"Can you feel like the love tonight?"

"I KILLED MUFASA!!!"

Obviously, this was all for a bit of fun and we had a great time doing it, even if one of us did have to entertain the kids so we could play HAHA!

Thank you for reading, please leave any comment to let me know what you think, I'm very new to this so anything would be helpful!
